The Browns (5-3) looks to extend their winning streak to three games, after defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 22-17 this past Sunday.
"(The NFL) definitely (knows) about the Cleveland Browns," said Browns safety Tashaun Gipson to reporters.
"They take the Browns seriously. They have no choice. You don't win five games by mistake."
Cleveland offensive tackle Joe Thomas revealed how important it is for his team to defeat their divisional rivals on Thursday night.
"They're a good team, and one hallmark of good teams is that they win at home," said Thomas to reporters.
"If we want to win the AFC North, we're going to have to beat Cincinnati and this is our first opportunity. The stage is a little bit bigger because it's the Thursday night game. You're the only game on TV."
Meanwhile, the Bengals (5-2) recently beat the Jacksonville Jaguars by a final score of 33-23 on November 2, a game where QB Andy Dalton went 19-31 for 233 yards, underlined by two touchdown passes and two interceptions.
"We didn't play as well as we should," said Cincinnati wide receiver Mohamed Sanu to reporters, "Everybody knows we can play a lot better."
Now, the Bengals are looking to extend their current two game winning streak in their upcoming match with Browns on Sunday.
