Just recently, on August 16, Christina Aguilera and Fiance Matt Rutler welcomed their new daughter into the world. The singer posted on her Twitter account officially announcing the name of her new born baby girl, Summer Rain Rutler.

"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," Aguilera posted over the social media site. This announcement caused a lot of online traffic, garnering almost 7,000 retweets and 14,000 favorites. It seems as though the fans are just as excited over the news as the parents.

According to reports, the engaged couple welcomed their new daughter via C-Section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Their new daughter, Summer Rain, is Aguilera's second child. Aguilera had her first child (Max, age six) with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman

Rutler and Aguilera announced their engagement last January, and a week after that confirmed that they were expecting. Recently, on July 12, the 33-year-old Grammy winner was honored with a baby shower. "It was very romantic with candles everywhere. Christina looked so happy and excited." an insider told Us Weekly at the time.

In other Aguilera news, the singer recently made mention her opinion on nude photo shoots, "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store," Aguilera revealed in V magazine

Additionally, the "Hurt" singer posted a message on Instagram saying got thankful she was for the things in her life, "[Thank you for] giving me the freedom to bare my soul & body at this incredible, magical, transition time in my life. #Grateful," she wrote August 1.
