New Christian Music Artist Spotlight on Everfound

A new Christian rock band formed in Denver, Colorado has recently been getting some media attention for their full-length independent album "Colorful Alibis and Scandalous Smiles." The band, which consists of four Russian brothers, has an interesting story that starts in Soviet Russia. They first heard the gospel when they were in Russia through radio transmissions that were broadcast across the border. Christianity was seen as a threat in Russia, so they often times had to listen to the radio broadcasts in secret.

Yan, the drummer for Everfound, said, "Playing piano was required in our house. As soon as you turned seven, Mom would set you up with a lesson with Grandma who would give you your first piano lesson. We all took classical piano for four or five years before we learned any other instruments."

The band began playing shows in Eastern Europe and Asia with Nikita, the oldest brother, as their booking agent. They soon partnered with Word Entertainment and began playing in the United States.

The brothers believe that their calling is to live out their faith through music.
