Ruby Flores, A Christian woman living in Texas, recently talked about the extraordinary story regarding her son, Cory Almanza, who was in a coma after a car accident a few months ago.

"When we arrived at the hospital he wasn't responding," said Flores, according to a CBN News report, "And they took me straight back to the room to see him because they didn't know what was going to happen next."

Then the Christian single mother prayed for her son, who she relied on as the young breadwinner of the family since he was 11-years-old.

"We were in the hospital for, like, a month and a half, and he was in a coma the whole time. He didn't respond," said Flores. "No parent wants to see their children hurt, especially in that situation."

Then the physicians sent him home because they felt there was nothing more they could do for the 17-year-old Abilene High School football athlete, yet Flores never gave up hope for her son's recovery, so she continued to pray.

As a result, Cory's mom recalled something miraculous that happened one day.

"We were just sitting there talking to him. We always do. And he just kept following our voices, looking at me and his sister talking. He was just following us, and it was amazing. And I was just, 'Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!' That's all I could say," said Flores.

Flores revealed that Cory's story can be an inspiration to others as the Texas teen tries to readjust to his life after spending over a month in a coma.

"He can talk and express himself, let everybody know what he's been through and how the Lord has blessed him. He can be an inspiration to others that are in his situation, not to give up, but just keep fighting," said Flores.

"Just love your kids as much as you can, while you can, because you never know what tomorrow brings."
