Chris Pratt News: Actor to Appear in More Marvel Films Outside Of 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Series

Those that were taken by Chris Pratt's performance in Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' will be happy to hear that the actor will be featured in the MCU beyond the 'Guardians' sequel.

As to what films he'll appear in is yet to be disclosed, but it has been confirmed that Pratt is signed to a couple more Marvel films in his contract.

In a recent interview with GQ, Pratt states:

"...I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple..."

'Guardians of the Galaxy' is currently slated for two sequels, so this leaves a lot of possibilities for Pratt to pop off in other movies. The said movies would likely have something to do with intergalactic travel, as that it where Pratt's Star Lord currently exist.

"But the two-part Avengers: Infinity War seems more likely to involve Pratt's Star-Lord. The Power Stone figured prominently into the first Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thanos will have to get his hands on it eventually if he wants the complete set.

"Other possibilities for Star-Lord are 2019's Inhumans, which deals with a race of superhumans created by the Kree (Ronan's people from Guardians of the Galaxy), and 2018's Captain Marvel, which centers on a character who's had extensive contact with the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics," writes Slash Film.

'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' is set to premiere on May 5, 2017, and Pratt shows no sign of slowing up. When asked about when he'd retire the role he stated, "I think I would do it and then three months later I would be tired of bird hunting and I would be like '...Guardians Ten?'"
