Chris Brown recently checked himself into rehab for anger management issues. This will be the first time Brown has been in rehab since he beat ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. over the weekend for a physical altercation in a hotel parking lot, where he allegedly punched another man in the face. After being released from prison, Brown met with L.A. Country Probation Department officials, who are investigating whether or not the rapper violated his probation he's still serving from the Rihanna case.

If Brown is found guilty of violating probabtion he could serve up to 4 years in jail.

The rapper's lawyer Mark Geragos drove him to a rehab facility in Malibu yesterday along with Brown's mom and girlfriend Karrueche Tran. When asked by TMZ, Geragos didn't comment on the his client's situation.

Chances are Brown is checking himself into rehab to show a reasonable amount of contrition and willingness to address  his anger management issues.
