According to MediaTakeOut insiders, Chris Brown is going to jail for two years, following being arrested for a "physical altercation" in Washington last weekend which resulted in a probation violation attached to his domestic violence charge after punching ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the face.

The Los Angeles Probation Department has been investigating the fight Brown and an older man had outside of a DC hotel to find out whether or not the altercation violated Chris's probation. According to the insider, it did and Brown will be taken to prison immediately.

According to the same source, the decision is final and the department is drafting a brief to make sure the volatile celebrity is locked up immediately. Here's what MediaTakeOut has to say:

"[Chris] lawyer can't really stop him from getting locked up. Only the judge can save Chris . . . but no one expects that to happen."

Rumor has it Brown could be wearing orange behind bars as soon as next week.
