Gossip sparked on Christmas day, December 25^th, as Tran, Brown's ex-girlfriend, posted an Instagram photo of herself that drew attention back to the inseparable couple.

26-year-old Karrueche is shown in the photo with two diamond rings in her hand. Although the rings don't really spell out what they mean, her followers speculated that she might have gotten proposed to by Brown over the holidays. However, This story is hard to follow, because Chris and Karrueche have recently broken up.

The couple is known for their uncertain and rocky relationship - they have broken up and made up several times in the past. In one particularly aggressive fight, singer Chris told his screaming fans that he was single during a concert. This led to a heated exchange through social media earlier this month.

The argument came to head when Chris tweeted, "That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain't working... I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!"
