NBC's spin-off series Chicago P.D. concluded Wednesday with some shocking events as well as romantic and sexual entanglements between the characters. Now fans are desperate to find out when Season 2 will be released and what the future will hold for the main characters on the hit show.

Sheldon Jin is dead, and it looks like Hank Voight pulled the trigger.  Lindsay's dark past has been revealed, and she had no choice but to make arrangements with Charlie to save her name.

Chicago P.D. executive producer Matt Olmstead was not joking when he revealed that a main character on the show would be saying farewell.  It turned out that Jin was just counting his days short even at the beginning of the season when Voight caught him leaking information to Stillwell.

The head of Intelligence Unit confronted Jin with the secret meeting he had, and then met up with Internal Affairs Sergeant Edwin Stillwell at the crime scene. 

Meanwhile, Detective Lindsay is in trouble with Charlie trying to reveal her dark past. Back in 2002, Lindsay's friend, Annie, witnessed a murder and served as an accomplice in hiding the body. 

To balance the horrific turn of events, Burgess and Ruzek finally expressed their feelings for each other over pasta dinner.  Antonio, on the other hand, faced marital disagreement when he chose to spend more time at work than with his wife.

Chicago P.D., a ratings winner on NBC, has been renewed for a second season and it is set to premiere next Fall.
