Cheri Keaggy's New Single Enters Billboard and CMW Charts in Top 25
"There Will Be One Day," the new single from Dove Award winning recording artist and speaker Cheri Keaggy's current CD, So I Can Tell, has entered Billboard's Soft AC/Inspirational chart at No. 24 and sits at No. 22 on theChristian Music Weekly (CMW)INSPO chart this week.
"There Will Be One Day" shares the charts with singles from some of CCM's top artists, including Chris Tomlin, Francesca Battistelli and Kari Jobe.
"I couldn't be more thrilled with the response this song is getting," says Keaggy. "It speaks to the longing in our hearts for home. There are so many people navigating loss and suffering. And God is there waiting to comfort His own. Thanks to everyone who has given this song a shot at being heard. I'm so grateful!"
So I Can Tell is Keaggy's first CD since her independent 2007 release, Because He First Loved Us. Keaggy draws on the encouragement of Scripture and her utter reliance on the comforting power of God to create an honest, engaging recording that is reflective of her emergence from a difficult season in life.
"When God has brought you through something, when He's shown up in God-sized ways, you can't help but testify," says Keaggy of the new songs. "This is my 'beauty from ashes' project."
So I Can Tell was released on the 18-year anniversary of Keaggy's 1994 Sparrow Records release,Child of the Father.
