Chelsea FC goes head-to-head against Sporting Lisbon at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal. The game starts at 2:45 pm and can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho recently talked about the status regarding his star players Ramires and Didier Drogba in the upcoming game versus Sporting Lisbon this afternoon.
"Drogba is going to be out for a couple of weeks," said Mourinho to reporters in reference to the Ivory Coast All-Star striker.
"He had a problem in the training session with his ankle, so it was not possible for him to travel and I think it will not be possible for him to recover for Sunday."
The Chelsea skipper also talked about the importance of his team's future match with Sporting Lisbon, as Chelsea star striker Diego Costa is expected to play this afternoon.
"There is a risk, yes, but he plays [Costa]. We assume the risk and he plays. Hopefully everything goes well and hopefully from Tuesday to Sunday he has enough period of time to be back on track and play against Arsenal," said Mourinho to reporters.
'It's an important game for us [today], a difficult game. If I can play my best players and the team I think is the best team to try to get us a result, I'm not going to make any changes. That also gives me some players on the bench with the quality to help me, which can help me change the direction of the game. We are ready for another fight [this afternoon]."
Meanwhile, Sporting Lisbon manager Marco Silva revealed his thoughts on the similarities between both sides in the upcoming matchup.
"That will have no influence on the match. Ultimately who will decide the destiny of this game are the players on the pitch," said Silva to reporters.
"He referred to our ambition, our style. I'm happy with that. Compliments are always good coming from Jose Mourinho. It's a great challenge for a trainer, but most importantly it's a great challenge for the team."
