Chelsea come into this game having defeated Paris St Germain on away goals to advance to the semi-finals where this season's top Spanish team so far, Atletico Madrid await.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho recently talked about his team playing in the semi-finals on Tuesday night.

"Today and tomorrow and also Wednesday are Champions League days and if you want to speak about the Premier League you have 19 teams in England that you can speak with. Chelsea today and tomorrow is Champions League and we are only available to speak about Champions League. We are lucky to be involved in the Champions League, so we are lucky that in the next two days we don't think about the Premier League and what's happened and what is going to happen because now we only think about tomorrow," said Mourinho to reporters.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid recently eliminated Barcelona from the competition 2-1 on aggregate over the two legs of their quarter final match up. Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone knows though that Chelsea pose a very different challenge to them today. Where as Barcelona usually try to pass teams off the pitch, Chelsea will no doubt take a much more direct approach to their game plan.

"We're not the same, but there are similarities. Chelsea have one of the meanest defenses in England, and that's our case in Spain. We work well defensively, we're direct, good on set pieces... Those similarities are what have led us to where we are now: one fighting for the league in England and us being where we are in our league," said Simeone to reporters regarding today's match versus Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid player Jorge Resurrección Merodio (aka Koke) echoes his managers viewpoints on facing a tough Chelsea squad this afternoon.

"The fans know the importance of the game. Against Barcelona and Milan they supported us. We will give our all for them and they will support us like they always do," said Koke to reporters. "Even though I have played in a lot of finals, tomorrow could be the biggest game of my life."
