'NCIS' Season 11, Episode 6 "Oil & Water" aired last Tuesday as the team is called to investigate a mass explosion that happened on board of a offshore oil platform that unfortunatley resulted in the death of Marine. As the team investigates the scene, Abby finds a hidden malware that allowed a hacker hack into the mainframe of the oil platform and manipulate their systems. The team goes straight to question the women who made the software , Danielle Benton, but they eventually fall short as they come to a dead end. Gibbs and Special Agent Abigail Borin began to invesigate the platform to see if they could find anymore clues or remnants of the bomb detonator, when they discover that whoever bombed the oil platform knew exactly where everything on board was. Meaning, the bomber knew specific locations and layouts of the oil platform and had keen knowlege on how to bomb that exact section of the platform. Benton becomes the prime suspect as they learn the firm who designed the layout for the oil platform was hacked as well by the same exact software that she created. in Episode 6 "Oil & Water" the NCIS team tracks down Danielle Benton when she confesses that she actually stole the designs in order to protest against offshore drilling but she was never related to the bombing itself. 

Meanwhile, Abby is still running tests on things that she found at the scene as she comes across a piece of leather that was found on the marines body. The peice of leather though matches the leather briefcase owned by Brett Creevy, the oil platforms lawyer. Brett was last seen lamenting the fallout from the explosion of the oil platform. The NCIS team goes to find Brett when he completely confesses to profiting off of short-selling the company's stock shares but swore he had no idea that the marine was on board at the time of the explosion. In Episode 7, "Better Angels", Gibbs and his father take a roadtrip back to the past as Gibb's dad starts to lose it. Having war flashbacks, his dad finds himself into trouble as Gibbs gets a terrifying call. Watch the "Better Angels" trailer below!!
