Castle Season 7 Release Date, Spoilers: Andrew Marlowe Teases Scenes; Premiere September 2014
Fans have become concerned with where the show, Castle, is headed after hearing that creator Andrew W. Marlow handed over control of the series. However, fans should rest assured, as Season 7 will continue right where the show left off, the explosive car accident. The upcoming installment in the popular series is set to return in September.
Marlowe told TV Line, "We feel like, given the way we left off, we have an obligation to start exactly where we ended. So we'll be picking up in real time."
He also made mention that current works in the show's production focus on revealing the person who caused the accident.
As a response to clamor made by fans on social media concerning Marlowe's resignation, writer Terri Edda Miller tweeted, "For those expressing concern: @andrewmarlowe & I aren't leaving #Castle. Still here full time [for season seven]. Amann's just assuming more responsibility."
Miller added that her husband will simply be assuming lighter responsibilities on behalf of Castle.
In an interview in Greece, Stana Katic admitted that she was also surprised about how Castle ended its sixth season. She did not give any spoilers and explained that the team will resume filming scenes mid July.
Until then, fans will have to reminisce about some of the more notable scenes, including the explosive season finale last June 25.
