"Carrie" Movie Premiere. "Carrie" Movie Ratings and Review. LIVE TRAILER./LIVE VIDEO

The 1976 remake of the horror-film classic, "Carrie" was just released this week into theatres. Stephen King's "Carrie" is about a teenage girl that has telekinetic powers and uses them against those who bully her. The misfit that turns her own depression into chaos is brutally made  fun of during prom at the high-school gym. Chloe Moretz plays Carrie in the 2013 remake of "Carrie", as she turns those insaults into backlashing havoc on the tormenters. The movie was slightly sad as you saw the torment that the young girl went through at home and away from school. Her mother (Julianne Moore)  would lock her in the closet consistently if Carrie showed any signs of her ability to move things. Carrie is beginning to be made of because she unfotunatley believes a girl that happens to be on steroids, Portia Doubleday, that the highschool class hunk, Ansel Elgort likes her.

The mean girl continues to make fun of Carrie, especially in a particular scene where Carrie starts her period for the very first time in the girls locker room. Carrie had no idea what to think of all the blood until one of her classmates pulled out her phone in the shower and took horrifying pictures of a crying bloody Carrie and posted them online. Director Pierce takes full on advantage of the bullying counterpoints in this movie as he makes the bully become the bullied. The casual cruelty of being bullied feels frighteningly real in the 2013 remake of "Carrie". Rotten Tomatoes gave "Carrie" a rating of 5:10 and a 72% like ration by fans who have seen the movie. Rotten Tomatoe stated, " It boasts a talented cast, but Kimberley Peirces "reimagining" of Brian De Palma's horror classic finds little new in the Stephen King novel-and feels woefully unecessary."

De Palma's original "Carrie" still beats the remake and the theme of the bullied becoming the bully still resonates throughout the entire movie. The new remake still contains some of the original lines of the 1976 horror film, but adds bigger original bloodbath scenes. The 2013 "Carrie" film is just as effective as a drama film, but just as scary as a horror film, a must see. Watch the trailer below or go here to find tickets.
