"The Voice" Season 5 returned to NBC last night with the performances from the final Top 8 contestants.

Caroline Pennell and her coach Ceelo Green chose the song "Dog Days Are Over" from Florence + the Machine to represent Team Ceelo for her Top 8 performance.

This was definitely the biggest song vocally that Pennell has sang this season and even though it is not what you have come to expect from her, she embraces it and sounds great. You can watch her performance above.

Caroline is Team Ceelo's last remaining contestant, so hopefully she can keep going and keep this team alive.

The judges/coaches for Season 5 are Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Ceelo Green and Christina Aguilera. Team Blake has won the last three seasons in a row with Team Adam winning Season 1.

There are no clear cut favorites this year, so it will make these final weeks entertaining to see who America picks each week to move on.

What did you think of Caroline's performance of "Dog Days Are Over" last night?

Tune in tomorrow night to "The Voice" on NBC at 8/7 Cst to see who makes it past the eliminations to move on to next week.
