'Captain America The Winter Soldier' Movie Cast Rumors: Samuel L Jackson Trash Talk 'Batman vs Superman' Movie (VIDEO)

At a recent event in the United Kingdom, the cast of the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" recently commented on the release date of the upcoming "Batman vs Superman" movie. The "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" cast appeared at the event to promote the release of the brand new film being released in the UK. As of right now, "Captain America 3" is expected to debut against "Batman vs Superman" (a.k.a. Man of Steel 2) on May 6, 2016. Here is what some of the cast members had to say about the potential feud between both blockbuster films.

"When two cars are speeding at each other," said "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" movie director Joe Russo (his brother Anthony is also the movie's director) at the press conference, "one of them's gotta veer out of the way at some point."

The movie cast agreed with their director's viewpoints about both iconic comic book franchises potentially releasing their blockbuster films on the same day.

"In other words, punks step up to get beat down," said "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star Anthony Mackie at the press conference. "We've got Chris Evans, baby, deal with that!"

Film legend Samuel L. Jackson also voiced his opinion regarding the differences between Marvel and DC Comics' roster of legendary characters.

"There's Marvel where you have heroes, there's DC where you just have interesting bad guys," said Jackson at the press conference taking a shot at DC Comics' Justice League.

Previously, comic books giant DC and Warner Bros. issued a challenge for superhero supremacy earlier this year when they changed the release date of their "Batman vs Superman" film to May 6, 2016, a date a previously unidentified Marvel movie had already claimed. Now fans know that the first Avenger and World War 2 hero Captain America will battle DC's World's Finest superheroes for blockbuster superhero film dominance two years from now.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier," which stars Chris Evans, will debut in movie theaters on April 4 in the U.S. and a week earlier internationally.

The "Batman vs. Superman" movie is expected to appear in theaters against "Captain America 3" on May 6, 2016.
