'Captain America: Civil War' News, Rumors: Hulk to Make an Appearance?

The upcoming 'Captain America: Civil War' film is currently bursting at the seams with characters old and new, so much in fact that its been difficult for fans to keep up with all of them, however some recent news has suggested the roster may open up for just one more character.

Mark Ruffalo recently held an interview in the Daily Beast, and while he has previously hinted at a possible Hulk cameo in a tweet, he once again mentions his involvement and doesn't deny that it could happen.

"I don't know! I heard a rumor about that the other day," says Ruffalo. "I haven't seen a script, nobody's told me, and I don't have dates. But I can only hope so!"

"I was talking to Robert Downey the other day, and he said, 'Ruffalo! I heard you're coming out here,' and I said, 'OK! I'll be there.'"

It's hard to believe that neither actor knows if Ruffalo will receive a cameo in the film at this point in production. For viewers that saw 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' Hulk's ending was left fairly obscure, but it was assured that he would be back in the MCU later on, but fans couldn't have predicted it would be this son.

So far the recent roster of Avengers members in the film would make this film even bigger than 'Age of Ultron.'

"In addition to Downey Jr. and Evans, the film will boast Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Vision (Paul Bettany), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), as well as the first appearance of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman)," writes Daily Beast.

'Captain America: Civil War' drops into theaters May 6, 2016.
