‘Captain America 3’ Release Date, Plot Spoilers: Launches Late Spring 2016

With the third installment of 'Captain America 3' set to hit the cinemas in the Spring of 2016, franchise fans are eager to find out in advance what the plot of this series addition will have in store for them.

Rumors have been circling around that Captain America will not be himself this time around. To be more precise, he will appear to be more of a mad man than a hero. It is rumored that the creators want to approach another side of the comic book superhero and reveal what really happened while he lay frozen during the war in the '50s.

For those unfamiliar with this part of the comic book plot, this means that another Captain America will emerge. 'Captain America 3' may be all about a fourth so-called hero, William Burnside and his partner Jack Monroe.

In the comic book, William Burnside idolizes Captain America fanatically. In addition, because the original Captain is trapped under ice, Burnside takes over the role and administers the serum into himself, the one that turns him into a Super Soldier. The same goes for Monroe. However, because they both have injected too much serum, they go mad. After that they are locked up in a block of ice themselves.

On the other hand, recent reports say that Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America and Bucky Barnes will definitely return in the third sequel and Jeremy Renner's character, Hawkeye, is rumored to make an appearance too. It is also rumored that the storyline of 'Captain America 2', which remained unresolved in the end, may be what 'Captain America 3' will be all about regarding the plot. Fans will just have to be patient and wait for the premier in 2016, on May 6, to find out.
