Call of Duty Ghosts Update Across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Wii U Released; Xbox One Gets LAN Support

Call of Duty: Ghosts' newest update went live today on all of its platforms and will be looking to take better anti-cheat measures, a Free for All Fall multiplayer map, and LAN support for the Xbox One.

According to Polygon, the menu layout for the Microsoft consoles, Sony consoles, and Windows PC received a new menu layout as well as Hunted Free for All on the leaderboard. All the updates also include eSports upgrades and fixes.

Polygon reported that Extinction addressed cash exploits, explosive ammo range, and different matches.

The updates for the Wii U were a bit different, and focused more on "broken" elements of the game such as issues with throwing grenades, lobby migration, and leaderboard fixes in addition to various problems.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC became available on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PC on February 28.

The DLC was formerly released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One in late January.

Onslaught contains four new maps and two new weapons, and comprises the first episode in Extinction, a four-part episodic story.

Onslaught costs $15 as a stand-alone or incorporated into the game's season pass.

"Episode 1, Nightfall, takes gamers to a remote research facility hidden deep within the Alaskan wilderness, where a small recon team must break into the facility to find out what happened to the covert Nightfall Program. This expanded Extinction storyline presents new characters, plus two brand new alien species, and introduces an exclusive Venom-X weapon that crushes the Cryptids, as players delve deeper into the story of what happened after mankind's first contact with the Cryptids in Colorado," read a description by CoD.
