Call of Duty: Ghosts' newest update went live this week on all of its platforms and will be looking to take better anti-cheat measures, a Free for All Fall multiplayer map, and LAN support for the Xbox One.
According to Polygon, the menu layout for the Microsoft consoles, Sony consoles, and Windows PC received a new menu layout as well as Hunted Free for All on the leaderboard. All the updates also include eSports upgrades and fixes.
Polygon reported that Extinction addressed cash exploits, explosive ammo range, and different matches.
The updates for the Wii U were a bit different, and focused more on "broken" elements of the game such as issues with throwing grenades, lobby migration, and leaderboard fixes in addition to various problems.
This weekend Activision and Infinity Ward are hosting a free multiplayer weekend for Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One and 360. According to Polygon it begins at 1 p.m. EST and ends Monday. Three maps will be available to be played during that time, with a sneak peek on Extinction.
