Call of Duty Ghosts Invasion DLC Release Date Confirmed for June 3; Xbox Live First With New Maps and Weapons

Call of Duty Ghosts Invasion DLC has officially been confirmed for a June 3 launch by Activision, and some info and maps have been revealed.

According to GameSpot, there will be four multiplayer maps, Pharaoh, Departed, Mutiny, and Favela as well as Episode 3: Awakening for Extinction mode. The maps will take the players from Egypt to the celebration of Dia de los Muertos. There will also be a pirate themed map. See a pictures here.

The game will also feature additional weapons and characters, which includes the Predator monster. It will be included in the DLC pass for $50 and arrive for Xbox Live first before heading to other platforms.

Other expansions included in the DLC are Onslaught and Devastation. Invasion and Nemesis are not out yet but coming soon, reported GameSpot.

Prior to this, CoD's last DLC had a new skins for weapons available that caterered to marijuana enthusiasts by providing a weed themed pattern on Xbox Live.

Called, "Blunt Force," the camo skin covered the user's weapon with marijuana leaves. The skin also came with a marijuana logo patch, and turned the cross hair targeting into the weed symbol as well.

"Deliver chronic lethality when you customize with the new Blunt Force Personalization Pack, complete with all-new themed camo, reticle, patch, playercard and background," reads the DLC's description.

The add-on is currently available for $1.99 on Xbox Live and is part of Soap Legend Pack. Other customization pacts besides Blunt Force are: Heartlands, Hex, Molten, Eyeballs, and 1987, reported Joystiq.
