Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Release Date, PS4, Xbox One Gameplay News: Kevin Spacey in New Trailer (VIDEO)

In the new behind the scenes video, Sledgehammer Games' Art Director Joe Salud and Animation Director Christopher Stone both revealed what gamers can expect to see when Call of Duty Advanced Warfare arrives on the Xbox One and PS4 this fall.

"Because our subject matter is very advanced and technical, and we're kind of peering into the future, we did whatever it took to make the game look as photorealistic as possible," said Salud in the new Animation & Art Direction video, "The first thing the gamers going to notice when they see our facial performances, they're going to wonder, like 'It looks like it's on TV!' And then they're going to realize, 'Oh my god, that's a game.'"

Stone echoed his co-worker's sentiments regarding the graphics of the upcoming game.

"We're building a whole separate character skeleton on top of the character animation to be able to see all those articulated parts and things moving as he's running," said Stone, "It's really going to let you feel like a bada**, which is something that everybody needs to feel like playing Call of Duty."

According to Kpopstars, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg mentioned what fans can expect from Kevin Spacey's role as the devious Jonathan Irons, who heads a secret military organization in the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise.

"We've made several key decisions with an eye towards creative excellence on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. We've really approached this game differently. This is our first three-year development cycle. It's our first time with Sledgehammer Games at the creative helm," said Hirshberg, "And we're shaking up the formula in several ways. New core gameplay mechanics with the exoskeleton suit. A riveting new story. An iconic new character played by one of the world's best actors in Kevin Spacey. We're having a lot of fun making this game, and we think the world is going to have even more fun playing it."

House of Cards and American Beauty star Kevin Spacey also talked about his portrayal as the main villain in popular game series.

"It's been a lot of fun working with the team to bring Jonathan Irons to life. The technology is truly remarkable and unlike anything I've done before. I'm excited to see where this goes," said Spacey, according to Computer And Video Games.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated to arrive in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 4, 2014.
