'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' New Update Details: Online Bug Issues Fixed on PC, PS4 & Xbox One Patch Due Soon
Even though 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' was just released to the public, there's already an update available for the game. The new patch was launched to target online latency issues, among other things.
According to Game Spot, the patch was released due to the numerous complaints of lagging which affected online multiplayer mode. Also, a spokesperson for Sledgehammer Games has announced that the PC version of the patch will be followed by a patch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Some of the content that comes with this update includes an adjustment to the in-game chat names, a fix for the Prestige reset issues (which includes emblems and challenges), adds DoubleXP icon to medal splashes when DoubleXP is active, connectivity optimizations for game servers, fixed marksman, and cameo challenges don't reset when you Prestige.
Another cool update is the new zombie skin custom outfit. The outfit includes zombie boots, gloves, armor, helmet, and face. So now the player can run around like a genuine zombie. To unlock this update, players must first complete exo Survivor mode, including the zombie bonus round. Players must also complete a certain amount of rounds from the four tiers of the challenge, and then proceed to the "Riot" map.
'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' was released on November 3 from Sledgehammer Games for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows (PC).
