If you haven't seen the Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer, find the nearest computer to you and YouTube it.

Microsoft announced Tuesday the new Call of Duty game is premiere as a launch title with the Xbox One. Though the game will also be released on Sony's Playstation 4, Microsoft gets it first allowing Xbox One users to have a head start on DLC (downloadable content).

For the first time in the Call of Duty series, players will be able to create their own custom avatars. Though it's only available for multiplayer game modes, players will be racing online to download updated clothing, face paint, accessories and what not. Genius, Activision.

Call of Duty: Ghost also treats the environment more realistically than previous franchise installments. In Ghosts, depending on the location, some multiplayer maps will feature various weather obstacles like floods and earthquakes.

The new COD game is also getting a little help from Hollywood in the story department. CEO Eric Hirschberg confirmed writer Stephen Gaghan [Traffic, Syriana] is penning the storyline.

I still have yet to find a confirmation on the "Zombies" multiplayer mode. Chances are it won't be back for Ghost. But who knows? Maybe the folks over at Activision and Infinity Ward have a brand new game mode up their sleeve.

Oh did I mention there are dogs in Call of Duty: Ghosts. You have the option of having a dog follow you around sniffing out bombs and nearby enemies.
