Bulls again snap Heat winning streak

A bloodied Nate Robinson proved to be a thorn in Miami's side the whole night.
Robinson scored a game-high 27 points and Jimmy Butler and Joakim Noah both recorded double-doubles as the Bulls beat the Heat 93-86. One day after being named to his 4th MVP award LeBron James, James was held to a two point first half before finishing with 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for Miami. Dwayne Wade added 14 points and Chris Bosh finished with only nine points.
Miami is 41-3 in their last 44 games, but two of those losses belong to the Bulls.
"I've played on some tough teams," Robinson said. "But this one, there's something a little different, something special about this group."
The Bulls were without Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, and Derrick Rose, but were still able to rally from seven down midway through the fourth and close the game out on a 10-0 run. After the game Noah was asked a question regarding how much pride he and his team feel winning without Rose, Noah went off.
"Derrick's a brother," Noah said. "And to see him go through this is tough, but at the end of the day it's really funny how quick people are to judge. But people don't know what it's like to lead a team, especially after you tore your ACL.
"If you tore your ACL and you have to be the starting point guard and have the expectations that Derrick has, then maybe you can judge, but everybody who hasn't been in that situation before should really shut up because I feel like it's just so unfair to him and to this team. We're fighting, and everybody's going to just s--- on somebody who's been giving so much to this organization. It's crazy to me."
Rose admitted on Monday that whether or not he was going to play this series was "still up in the air. I might have a chance," even though he hasn't participated in a single game this season.
The Heat look to redeem themselves Wednesday night as the Bulls try to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Once looked upon as a walkthrough series for the Heat this series is going to be a dog fight.
