Bryan Silva Death Hoax: Rapper Reportedly Shot in Racial Tagging
Internet sensation and aspiring rapper Bryan Silva recently became the victim of a death hoax originating from fake news site Huzzlers.com.
The "Gratata" rapper was reportedly shot in the head and died, according to the fake report. Silva moved to deny the allegations and even posted updates from his online accounts signifying that he is still alive and well.
Huzzler.com, the website which first published Silva's death news, stated on its disclaimer that it does not publish any real news.
The death hoax report says:
"Around 11:00 a.m., Brian, 23, was gunned down just outside a doorway at 1840 W Broad St. He had been shot five times in the head, becoming the first Caucasian killed in the area for overusing the "N" word," the report read.
"At the scene, Bryan's body remained where he fell with a white sheet covering for an extended amount of time and in view of his relatives. Their emotions shifting from shock, to sadness and then anger."
The false article also quoted Silva's father, Michael, saying, "Many white people say the "N" word on a daily basis, Bryan didn't deserve this!"
Silva is just the latest celebrity to be the victim of a death hoax from fake news sites. Others who have been hit by fake deaths include Dwayne Johnson, Mark Calaway, Leonard DiCaprio, Macaulay Culkin.
Silva's fans expressed relief on Twitter over the continued false death rumors. Charles Rogers "@IamReezin on May 5 wrote, "Thank God the Bryan Silva death article was a hoax. I was worried some haters got mad and sent some gratata at his fitted."
