Bruno Mars is currently one of pop music's top acts. He has multiple No. 1 hits including his most recent, "When I Was Your Man." His mother was a hula dancer and a singer, immigrating from the Philippines. Sources say that she nurtured her son's interest in music from an early age. Mars himself has named her as an influence multiple times before.
