Rumor has it that Bruce Jenner is into Spanx, a slimming girdle, which ignites speculation that the former Olympian allegedly wants to undergo a sex change operation.

Sources told Examiner that Jenner, a former Olympic gold medalist, started wearing slimming girdles as he became self-conscious about his body image, "Bruce? beats himself ?up for not having the washboard abs he had as a pro athlete." 

"He wants people to think that he's still ripped," the source added.

Jenner started facing sex change rumors when he underwent a surgery called laryngeal shave, a procedure that makes the Adam's apple flat. The procedure is usually done just prior to a sex change, which sparked up the rumors.

Kris Jenner, Bruce Jenner's wife, said that the sex change rumors are nothing more than tabloid lies, "[The sex-change operation] is a story that they keep regurgitating from the '70s," said Kris.

"Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up." added Jenner's wife

Sources also told Examiner that the former athlete does not want to undergo a sex change, but is obsessed with looking young. Sources added that Jenner thinks plastic surgery is the key to his obsession.

Over the years, Jenner has been the subject of several tabloid articles due to the numerous plastic surgeries he had undergone. In 1984, Jenner underwent rhinoplasty and partial face lift. He also underwent a corrective facelift in 2009.

Experts speculated that Jenner may be suffering from body dysmorphic disorder, an obsessive concern over a physical flaw that may be minor or nonexistent. The said disorder is suspected to be the reason why Jenner underwent a series of plastic surgeries.
