Brittany Murphy's Mom Claim Daughter Was NOT Poisoned: "Her Father is Lying"

Early last week, Brittany Murphy's biological father claimed that his daughter was poisoned to death. Murphy died several years ago, but her father was not happy with the investigation that was put into her and her husband's death. He claimed, and attempted to prove, that she was murdered by way of poison due to toxicology results tested at a private lab in Colorado.

Her mother, Sharon Murphy, spoke up about the recent allegations about Murphy's poisoning. She said, "She was my baby, and we stood together throughout Brittany's life. Now I must stand up for her again. I have no choice now but to come forward in the face of inexcusable efforts to smear my daughter's memory by a man who may be her biological father, but was never a real father to her in her lifetime. His claims are based on the most flimsy of evidence and are more of an insult than an insight into what really happened."

Her father, Angelo Bertolotti, went to Good Morning America last week and told them that he was sure Brittany was poisoned. Sharon Murphy accused Anthony Bertolotti of trying to cash in on Brittany's death. She said, "Angelo has shown he only wants to trade on Brittany's life, career and good reputation - even at the cost of putting a cloud over her memory."

Do you think that her mother or father are right in this situation? Is it possible that someone is not being entirely truthful about Brittany Murphy's death? Let us know what you think in the comments!
