Britney Spears Takes Residency in Las Vegas Casino: Show Will Feature Songs From Her New Album Plus Old Favorites [VIDEO]

Planet Hollywood and Britney Spears have teamed up to make Vegas home to the pop star for the next two years. Spears will perform over 50 shows a year at Planet Hollywood and will perform some of her old favorite songs from her catalog, but will also try out new material from her new album.

Spears told the Las Vegas Sun at her welcoming party, "I already feel like home here at Planet Hollywood. It's so nice to celebrate with this incredible welcome. I'm so excited for everyone to experience the new show. Now it's just a few weeks. I'm so happy to be here right now. This is my city. I can't wait to see you guys opening night."

Britney Spears just released her latest album "Britney Jean" and says she is excited to perform some new songs from that album in Planet Hollywood.

She told Ryan Seacrest at the iHeartRadio listening party for her album, "There are a lot of different, interesting aspects to the show and a lot of moments where the audience feels like they're in the show with us. A lot of special effects like that and it's the most dancing I've ever done."
