Britney Spears and David Lucado Break-Up: Talks Being Single, Singer's New Tinder Account

Weeks after the 32-year old pop star announced her break up from David Lucado on Twitter, Britney Spears talked about her single life on 'Good Morning America'.

"I think everything happens for a reason. And I'm actually really blessed right now," Spears said.

According to the singer, being single in Las Vegas is "mind-blowing." She added that her mother is pushing her to get back to dating.

"My mom's like, 'You need to date three or four different guys at one time. And just have a lot of fun.' And I'm like, 'Mom, we're not that old-school anymore,'" Spears said while laughing.

Although Spears laughed at her mom's suggestion, she admitted that the idea seems fun.

"You know what I mean? I guess I could try to do that. But I don't know. It's fun. It's a lot of fun," added Spears.

When asked whether her experiences and struggles in love inspires her songwriting, Spears answered, "Oh definitely."

"And when I perform, too, you take your hurt or whatever you're going through and you put it in the show. And sometimes, it'll give you way more energy -- surprisingly, you know," added Spears.

Spears is currently doing a residency show in Las Vegas entitled 'Pieces of Me'. In one of her performances last month, she announced the reason behind her break up with Lucado.

"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me," said Spears confirming the tabloid rumors.

Spears dated Lucado for over a year, shortly after the singer called off her engagement with Jason Trawick.

Meanwhile, news about Spears joining the matchmaking mobile application Tinder has been circulating.

The "Perfume" singer ended up joining the dating application when she made a surprise appearance on 'The Tonight Show' Tuesday, and the show's host, Jimmy Fallon, made an account for her.
