Britney Spears who was rumored to be dating film producer Charlie Ebersol, recenty posted a "selfie" of the pair on her Twitter account. Daily Mail reports that the famous pop star is dating Ebersol who's the son of NBC's (National Broadcasting Company) president.

According to the sources of E! Online, "They met through friends." adding, "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another".

While the relationship has just been revealed to the public, many talk shows and gossip websites are already running the story. On that note, some people are happy for the 'Criminal' singer, while others feel that she should be cautious.

"It's very new" said Britney Spears when asked for the rumors about her new love relationship by a correspondent with Extra.

She broke the news with their grinning "selfie" and the heart depicted below the photo on the micro blogger confirmed that she is dating Charlie Ebersol.

However, the American media personality, actress, comedian and author Wendy Williams quotes Charlie Ebersol as an opportunist. "The Pop star needs to be more careful about flaunting her love life on Twitter and Instagram. She needs to grow up and perhaps think twice about stuff like that, because she's got kids", said Wendy Williams in her talk show.

According to the Daily Mail, "They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so, no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together".
