'Britain's Got Talent' Performance of Young Duo Singing 'Hope' in the Midst of Bullying Inspires Millions as the Boy Rapped to 'God' (VIDEO)

A recent "Britain's Got Talent" video of young musical duo Charlie Lenehan (15) and Leondre Devries (13), who together are named Bars & Melody, has gone viral after they sang an "anti bullying" song. The two shined bright as they performed a song of faith, encouraged millions to be "hopeful" in the midst of adversity.

In the introductory video of the duo, Devries spoke about his hardship with bullying. He explained that he wrote raps to get through the times when he was severely bullied. "When I used to be down in the dumps, I used to write my raps. I could express myself through what I was writing down," he explained.

The two chose to remake the faith-based song "Hope" by Twista and Faith Evans. The duo was bursting with light as they spoke to the judges. Right before they performed Devries beckoned that every one listen to the lyrics of the song. "We really want people to listen and hear our lyrics that are in our song," he said.

The first line of the tune was a plea to God to help in the midst of the threat of bullying. "Please help me God, I feel so alone," the young boy rapped.

Devries went on to rhyme as the audience was brought to tears, "I feel so scared, when you shove me down, you kick me, punch me, throw me to the ground." The audience was brought to their feet as the applause and screams of praise intensified. Lenehan sang the inspiring words, "I know it ain't easy but that's ok, just be hopeful."

Tough judge Simon Cowell seemed moved by the performance as well, and pushed the Golden Buzzer for the musical duo which sent them straight to the semi-finals. The Golden Buzzer allows the judges - Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams - a one-time opportunity during the auditions to push an act through to the live semi-finals of the talent competition regardless of what the other judges may think.

The clip of the performance on YouTube has been viewed over nine million times as of Thursday morning. Watch the uplifting clip below.
