'Breaking Bad' Season 6 Rumors: Producers Confirm Show Will Not Be Renewed

While fans would definitely like to watch another season of 'Breaking Bad', the producers of the AMC dismissed any possibility of extending the show. Nevertheless, numerous rumors keep resurfacing on the Internet claiming that 'Breaking Bad' will be renewed for Season 6.

In fact, some time back, National Report confirmed on its website that the show will be renewed for another season. The report reads, "Breaking Bad fans around the world are celebrating the stunning, glorious and amazing news announced today: Walter White is not dead, and there will indeed be a sixth season of the wildly-popular, award-winning AMC drama."

In fact, the website reportedly quoted the executive producer of the show reportedly saying, "Walter White is not dead, and neither is Breaking Bad." It claimed that the quote came from the 47-year-old writer, director, and executive producer of the novel show.

Interestingly enough, several other websites also published similar articles quoting the National Report.

However, many didn't notice that National Report publishing outlandish and satirical articles like," "IRS Plans to Target Leprechauns Next," and "New CDC Study Indicates Pets of Gay Couples Worse at Sports, Better at Fashion Than Pets of Straight Couples."

However, National Report has a disclaimer page that removed later. The disclaimer stated, "National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental."

In the meantime, Empire News, another fake news site, also carried a fake confirmation for 'Breaking Bad' Season 6.

The story on this website read, "If you were are fan of the hit AMC TV show Breaking Bad, then I hope you're sitting down for this news. Vince Gilligan, the creator of the much-loved series, has announced that on top of working on creating spin-off series Better Call Saul, he and his writers have begun working on a sixth season for 'Breaking Bad.'"

Empire News also used an alleged quote from show creator Gilligan, who supposedly said, "It's true, we did decide to come back for another round with Walt."

Again, these media outlets are satirical, and just to clarify, as it stands, there will be no 'Breaking Bad' Season 6.
