Breaking Bad Movie Rumors, News: Bryan Cranston Drops Hint That Walter White Role May Not Be Over Yet

Bryan Cranston, star of "Godzilla", "Malcolm in the Middle" and AMC hit series "Breaking Bad" hints the infamous Walter White and his story may not be over after all.

Speculation about Vince Gilligan's "Breaking Bad" Season 6 or possible movie electrifies fans after an interview with Cranston by CNN's Ashleigh Banfield on May 29. The actor's sly and subtle answers during the interview serve in part as fuel which ignites this rumor.

"Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything. Or say ... you know," slipped Cranston, alluding to the closing scene of the series finale Felina, which depicted the wounded Walter White collapsing with a strangely serene demeanor. When asked whether or not he'd play the role again, he responded with, "Never say never,".

The success of the show propelled Cranston into winning multiple awards including an Emmy and the Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of the high school chemistry teacher's transition to crime lord. The series premiered January 2008, and ran for five years, ending September 2013 with Season 5's episode 16.

Besides Cranston's intriguing responses during the CNN interview, no concrete news exists on the continuation of the series in any way, shape, or form. Yet a spinoff does exist, potentially quenching any thirsty "Breaking Bad" fanatics.

Vince Gilligan's "Better Call Saul" debuts this November on AMC network.
