Matt Latos travels down to Hot-lanta to take on the NL East leading Braves. Latos [8-2, 3.18 ERA] was victorious in his last start against Seattle. But what do we really know about Latos? The 25-year old has great stuff and he's getting better. Looking at his last three starts for the Reds, Latos' WHIP is up a little bit from the season average at 1.4 and had 11 strikeouts in his last start.

Looking at Tim Hudson getting the start for the Braves. Fortunately for Hudson, this game's in Atlanta and not on the road. For Hudson's career, he's a 2.5 ground ball to fly ball pitcher. This year he's 1.89. He's still a solid ground ball pitcher, but the 37-year old raises questions about the longevity of his career going forward.

The Braves are 29-13 at home this year and obviously enjoying some of that southern home cooking so far. The Reds come into tonight's game with a losing road record and are coming into the series with the Braves after losing their last series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Fortunately for the Reds though, the Pirates have slumped in the NL Central and they're only a couple games back.

Tune in to watch the host team Atlanta Braves take on the slumping Cincinnati Reds tonight at 7:10 PM ET on MLB Network.
