Boulder Rolls Straight for Church During Construction Project - Stops Just Inches From Impact; 'The Lord Intervened' (VIDEO)
Construction workers could not believe their eyes when a huge boulder from a construction blast rolled past their site and headed straight for a nearby church. What happened next left the men completely shocked.
While an excavation company cleared some land near a Saugus church in Massachusetts, a large boulder caused by the explosion began to roll down the hill right towards the sanctuary almost destroying it.
Pastor Rick LeClair is the pastor of Grace Ministries Church on Main Street. He credits divine intervention for stopping the tumbling rock.
"If it rolled another 12 inches, it would have gone right through the building" LeClair told WCVB-TV. "This boulder was probably 20 tons."
"We were standing across the street saying, 'Uh-oh. There it goes,'" LeClair recounted. "I was thinking the church was going to get wrecked, but I had this peace about me where it really wasn't going to get wrecked. And it didn't."
The Pastor is sure it was an act of God. "The Lord just kinda said, 'That's enough,'" LeClair told WCVB.

On a video posted on YouTube that is now going viral, the construction workers in clear disbelief just kept echoing, "Can you believe that?" and, "Are you kidding me?"
Grace Ministries feeds thousands of people out of the food pantry at the church - all of which was under threat had the church been destroyed.
"It would have probably closed us down, but it didn't," the pastor said.
"Everybody around the whole neighborhood and working on the site were under the same kind of agreement," the Pastor added. "The Lord intervened."
It took three hours for the construction team to chip the boulder down to little rocks and remove it from the church ground and amazingly nothing but the church railing was damaged.
