Boston Marathon Bombings: Names Released, Metro Area on Lockdown, 1 Policeman Dead, 1 Suspect Dead, 1 Suspect On The Run
Two brothers, believed to be Muslim, are the main suspects for the Boston marathon bombing. Since yesterday evening, when the FBI posted pictures of the 2 men, things have heated up.
Police have sealed off densely populated portions of the Boston metro area early Friday after a violent night of chasing the Boston Marathon terror suspects have left one of the men and a police officer dead. The other suspect is on the run.
Police are covering Watertown, Massachusetts, neighborhood looking for the surviving suspect, identified by Boston police as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, age 19.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, originally from the Russian Caucasus and had moved to Kazakhstan at a young age before coming to the United States several years ago with his brother Dzhokhar.
Police ordered businesses in the suburb of Watertown and nearby communities to stay closed and told residents to stay inside and answer the door for no one but authorities. Boston authorities advised the same. Everything has been shut down even the taxi services.
There are currently helicopters in the sky as the field of search grows more narrow.
