Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects Video, Images Released by FBI (PHOTOS)
FBI has got two suspects in the recent bomb blast in Boston and urged the public to come forward with the information about them.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation released photos of two suspects in Monday's Boston Marathonbombings. The head of the FBI's Boston office, Richard DesLauriers, said the man he described as suspect #1 was wearing a dark cap while suspect #2 with a white cap.
Suspect #2 was seen in images of the event putting a backpack on the ground at the spot where the second bomb went off, the FBI said. This happened "within minutes" of the explosion, according to Mr. DesLauriers.
Mr. DesLauriers said the suspects could be "armed and extremely dangerous," and members of the public shouldn't try to apprehend them.
He also added that the two men appeared to be walking along together up Boylston Street near where the explosion took place.
The public was warned that the men are extremely dangerous and armed. Therefore, people were asked to attempt them personally.
Earlier President Barack Obama, speaking at an interfaith service in Boston, vowed that the U.S would find and hold accountable those behind the explosions.
"The grace this tragedy exposed is the best of who we are," he added.
In addition to the theme of grace, the president also highlighted the theme of endurance and quoted Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) in his remarks. "Scripture tells us to run with endurance, the race that is set before us," he stated.
"To the injured, we will all be with you as you learn to stand, walk, and run again, yes, run again, for that I have no doubt you will run again," Obama said to a standing ovation. "We will finish the race."
The president also quoted 2 Timothy 1:7, saying: "God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but one of power, love and self-discipline, and that's the spirit you have displayed in recent days."
