The Bruins (10-6-0) are attempting to stretch their current winning streak to three games when they battle the Maple Leafs on the road in Canada.

The Bruins defeated the New Jersey Devils by a final score of 4-2, where Patrice Bergeron totaled three points (a goal and two assists) in the game on November 10.

Boston center Seth Griffith revealed his thoughts about scoring what proved to be the game winning goal against Devils goalie, Cory Schneider.

"I knew if I got it on net, something good might happen," said Griffith.

Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs (8-5-2) are looking to extend their current winning stretch to two games when they host the Bruins at the Air Canada Centre on Wednesday night.

Previously, Toronto beat the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 5-3 on November 9, underlined by Maple Leafs center Peter Holland totaling one goal and one assist in the victory.

Holland was among five Toronto players who scored at least a goal against Senators goalie Robin Lehner on Sunday.

"It's huge especially with the back-to-back we just had," said Holland to reporters.

"Anytime you can get two points against a divisional team it's a big win. I thought it was a really good game and I thought both teams competed hard. It was great that we came out on top."

The game begins at 8:00 pm ET and can be viewed on TV on the NBC SN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
