‘Bones’ Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: Stephen Nathan Talks About Conspiracy Theories, FBI Portrayal on the Show

Fox Network's Bones will be leaving the serial killer theme behind, as it steps into it's tenth installment returning to TV sometime this Fall.

Executive producer Stephen Nathan explained that Agent Booth's painful mishap in the ninth season finale signaled writers to tell fresh stories in Season 10.

According to Bones' showrunner, Fox's flagship comedy-drama series will focus on conspiracy theories and on how Booth will develop his relationship with the FBI, "The pain of their separation as well as the uncertainty of how this is going to play out is really how we wanted to leave the audience because it does a few things for us," Nathan told TVLine.

With the possibility of a conspiracy against or with the trusty FBI agents, Booth is expected to carry on excess "baggage" aggravated by his separation from Brennan.

"We wanted Booth and Brennan and the audience hanging in sort of a rage of uncertainty because they have always been able to trust the FBI.  It confirms this relationship which everybody has invested in and it solidifies that even more," Nathan continued.

In another interview with E! News, Emily Deschanel said that the show many not necessarily inject conspiracies, but said that dark plans might have been occurring in Jeffersonian even in the past seasons. Nathan added, "We caught the Ghost Killer, but there's still a ghost out there, some kind of adversary that still remains unseen and unidentifiable at the end of this season."

Bones Season 10 returns sometime this fall every Thursday at 8 PM on Fox.
