'Bones' Season 10 Confirmed: Show Renewed for Another Season
Fox hit drama "Bones" will be back for a tenth season. The announcement is official and fans are thrilled, as are members of the "Bones" cast.
Late in January Fox's Chairman of Entertainment, Kevin Reilly, announced the continuation of the show via a released statement.
"Over the course of nine seasons, Bones has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can. Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of Bones as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!" Fox's Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly said.
Stephen Nathan celebrated the show's renewal via the social media site Twitter. He also revealed that the show will be moving back to its original night, Monday, as soon as March of 2014.
"#Bones Season 10 is a fact. And we'll be back on Monday night in March!" Nathan said via his Twitter account.
Kevin Reilly hinted at renewal at the start of the New Year.
At the Television Critics Association winter press conference Reilly said, "we're negotiating on Bones for Season 10, and I expect it will be back," according to TV Guide.
