Fans of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' looking to catch Thursday's episode on TV should expect to see a rather unexpected guest on the soap.

The Thursday episode of CBS's soap opera 'The Bold and The Beautiful' will focus on the storyline of the characters, Brooke Logan Forrester, Katie Logan Spencer, Liam Spencer, Hope Logan and Wyatt Fuller.

The episode will also feature the character John Forrester, who will be played by guest actor and comedian Fred Willard. It is said that during the episode, several important and revealing conversations among the characters will take place.

Katie will be surprised by the unexpected turn of events, as her sister Brooke reveals some big news. Similar to Katie, the Forrester family will also be surprised in the episode due to an unanticipated visit of a long-lost relative.

The surprise guest is said to be none other than John Forrester, and decides to show up uninvited. For those who can't recall, he is Eric's older brother and Ivy's father.

Willard, who would play John Forrester, allegedly filmed for the soap opera on Aug. 27. Many fans are anticipating Willard's performance, since has established his career in the entertainment industry through shows and movies like 'Everybody Loves Raymond', 'Modern Family', 'Wall-E', and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy'.

A sneak peak video for the upcoming episode of the soap opera was also posted by CBS.

The teaser shows Katie and Brooke having a conversation about Bill and Ridge.

"He's in love with you and I'm in love with Ridge. I don't know why you're playing matchmaker," Katie said to Brooke in a video from the show's official YouTube channel.

The video also shows Liam revealing Hope's pregnancy to someone. Hope, on the other hand, is shown telling Wyatt that she does not want Quinn to go near their baby.

The video also shows John saying the words "I shall give him my blessing or my condemnation."

'The Bold and the Beautiful' airs from Monday to Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
