Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon are now married after years of dating under the scrutiny of the public eye.

"@nickdgordon #HappilyMarried. So #Inlove. If you didn't get it the first time that is," wrote Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter on Twitter yesterday and included a picture of her hand on top of Gordon's hand to display their new wedding rings.

According to, MTV Gordon appeared to have a unique connection with the late R&B singer before she passed away on February 11, 2012. As a result, the young couple faced criticism when they started dating. In July 2013, Bobbi Kristina posted a Facebook message regarding her wedding arrangement and refuted rumors that Gordon was her sibling, adopted or biological.

"I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your engaged to your brother' or 'if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,'" she wrote on her official Facebook page in July 2013. "Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you."

"huh huh baby @REALbkBrown we are up. Let's see trouble we will cause today," wrote newlywed Gordon via Twitter to his new bride Bobby Kristina today.

Bobby Kristina is the only child that R&B singer and former New Edition member Bobby Brown had with the late R&B vocalist Whitney Houston.
