Bobbi Kristina Brown News: Late Singer's Funeral Kept Low-Key
As the famous daughter of two music icons Bobbi Kristina Brown unfortunately passed away July 26, 2015 her funeral was reportedly perfect and beautiful and low key apparently as not one of the media men were allowed to cover from the inside.
And as much as a lot of people would want to see and hear what took place at the St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia last Saturday, Brown's late mother, Whitney Houston's former hairstylist was gracious enough to give the details of what happened.
Talking to E! News after the reported intimate service for the late Brown, Ellin LaVar, described it as "simple and lovely" and "perfect, like her, small and delicate." The service was also said to be low key.
"The service was very low key and appropriate for her and her life," she told E! News. "It was beautiful." It seemed like everyone at the funeral including of course Brown's father, Bobbi Brown, aunts Leolah Brown, Tina Brown and Pat Houston, as well as Bobbi Kristina's celebrity friends such as Tyler Perry were in attendance.
LaVar continues to describe what took place during the service revealing how Bobbi Kristina was serenaded by her grandmother and Whitney's mother Cissy Houston as well as Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans.
There was also a video tribute for Bobbi Kristina made by her dear friend Perry featuring the late Bobbi Kristina's home videos from when she was 1 year old until her adult life. "It was really touching video," LaVar told E! News. "It ended like she was waving goodbye. It was very emotional to see it," she added.
As perfect as the funeral was there was however some tension from Bobbi Kristina's aunt and sister of the late Houston, Pat who was apparently in an argument with Leolah.
It has been reported that Leolah was ranting about Pat while talking to reporters. She was then asked to leave. "She got up during the service to show her anger and her niece went over to ask her to leave and calm her down," LaVar said. "What she was doing was inappropriate."
Bobbi Kristina will be laid to rest and buried next to Whitney in New Jersey coming Monday.
