Before 'Boardwalk Empire' returns for its final season this Sunday night, multiple reports claim that several characters from the popular HBO series will be killed in the very near future.

This week's episode will start at 9:00 pm. ET on HBO and can be viewed online through live stream via the link provided below.

"I can't say who; I can't say whether we did," said series creator Terence Winter to Variety in reference to some of the actors requesting that their characters get killed off this season, "People want to go out with a bang. They're like, 'Can you give me a really horrific, bloody death?' It's like, yeah, why not? You want to go out in a blaze of glory."

Winter also revealed about how Nucky's criminal lifestyle will affect him dramatically in the upcoming fifth season.

"This year, Nucky witnesses what he has wrought because of his lifestyle," said Winter, "I always wanted to explore the effects of what Nucky did for a living. I had an end point for him from the beginning. Now, I know in specific detail how it exactly happens. He sees the chickens come home to roost."

In addition, Actor Michael K. Williams revealed how his character Chalky White lost everything and why he plans to get revenge on everybody that wronged him in the past.

"I lost my name, my place, my baby girl," wrote Williams (as his character Chalky White) on Instagram in August, "I lost everything there is to lose #CHALKYWHITE @boardwalk_empire_hbo #sept7th."
