The success of 2015 CES has been the ground for automakers and other car developers to plan for something big for the 2016. According to BMWBlog, BMW specifically Mercedes and Audi participated in the event this year. With high-tech and grandeurs concept of the BMW vehicles, surely many will come to witness such big car show event.

With the excitement produce by the concept for 2016 CES, auto makers can't get enough of the idea that BMW i8 Spyder concept that was first introduced in 2012 must be included. The participation of BMW i8 Spyder started a few years back in Vegas. 

With the safety measures for the 2016 CES, it was planned to have some improvements to i8's connectivity and safety system. On the other hand, enhancement with regards to power train and battery pack for longer endurance is being now taken into consideration. The battery is expected to survive a 23 mile run, as it is the official distance.

Meanwhile, it is expected that i8 will run for up to 360 horse power and hits 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. However, for safety purpose, the maximum speed should only be 250 km/h (155 mph), fast enough for a car show.

On the other hand, participants for CES 2016 say that the BMW i8 is the number one automotive that has a bigger chance to make the show alive.
