Blake Shelton, Shakira & More Celebrities Twittering About "The Bible" Series Tonight on The History Channel
"The Bible" series on The History Channel has been a ratings smash becoming the highest rated cable show of the year and the highest rated series on The History Channel of all time.
With tonight's final episode airing strategically on Easter Sunday viewership is expected to be highest of the year. Not only people who have already tuned in to see the final episode but also just the general public feeling compelled to watch something "religious" with it being Easter Sunday could have even more viewers tuning in tonight.
Celebrities like Oprah, Christina Aguilera (singer) Adam Levine (singer), Jane Lynch (Glee), Nick Lachey (singer) and many others taking to twitter to talk about the show.
Today is no different with Shakira (new judge on hit TV show "The Voice") tweeting about her being excited to watch "The Bible" series tonight and Blake Shleton (fellow "The Voice" judge) retweeting her and adding he will be watching the show as well.
Here is the twitter:
@blakeshelton: "@shakira: Looking forward to the #BibleSeriesFinale on @History tonight. http://t.co/JgDQ3DK8Ls -Shak"Me too!!"
No publicity can match the power of celebrities on social media encouraging their millions of viewers to personally check something out.
All of this added buzz could easily made this the highest rated episode of the season which would mean record numbers for tonight.
Tune into The History Channel tonight to see the fifth and final episode of "The Bible" series entitled "Passion".
