Powerhouse couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are rumoured by several reports to be expecting a baby. The news comes in stark contrast to other recent reports implicating that the couple was heading for a disastrous break up. However, instead of a split, it appears they will be on baby-bump look to see if the latest gossip holds any water.

From the start, the couple has been in the spotlight since their secret wedding in September 2012, and even though some reports have claimed they have had their difficulties, latest news notes that Lively has been eating more than usual which has everyone is keeping tabs.

Reports previously said that the couple may be headed toward divorce because Reynolds had been very possessive of Lively being in night shoots with co-star Michael Huisman.

A major tabloid said, "[Ryan Reynolds] is very possessive of Blake. She's been doing night shoots, and Ryan keeps showing up, which infuriates her. He appears to be worried about Blake's relationship, with her hunky co-star Michiel Huisman."

Now a new tabloid report suggests that it is quite the opposite; the couple is so in love that they plan to have a baby soon. Ideally they would like to hold off on the baby for a little while longer so that Lively can complete a bit more in her career, but a baby is on the horizon.

It is possible that children will amount in the couple's near future, as Lively is enthusiastic about having kids.

"I've always wanted a big family. Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," she said in the October issue of Allure magazine.
